Austin’s 18th Annual Reggae Fest, This Weekend

Beginning Friday, one of Austin’s popular outdoor venues, Auditorium Shores, will be home to the 18th Annual Reggae Festival.  This three-day long festival is centered around dub, international foods, arts & crafts, and also benefits the Capital Area Food Bank. Last year, proceeds from this festival helped feed over 650,000 families throughout central Texas – sweet!! Tickets are super affordable at $12.50 beforehand, or $15 (cash only) the day of.   1. I did not know Austin had a Reggae Festival. Since leaving N.Y., caribbean events in the south are hard to come by.
