Some of Houston’s premier LGBT places are offering great Valentine’s specials; so treat that special someone to a night on the town. First things first; Chelsea Grill will feature an additional special Valentine menu. Centrally located, in the Museum district on Montrose, this grill will fill up quickly. Reservations are recommended. After dinner, grab a cocktail or two at Guava Lamp where there will be free pool all night and half price drinks from 4 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Are you & your special someone foodies? If so, the Foodie Floats Cupid Cruise may be just the ticket for a romantic night out.  Meet at Allen’s Landing tonight and hop aboard a pontoon tour boat. Enjoy bubbly beverages and chocolate bites  while taking in spectacular views of downtown Houston. Featuring local chefs and food purveyors, this intimate tour will be something unique and romantic to do with your Valentine. Limited seating. For reservations, contact Trudi Smith at or 713.752.0314. Monday, February 14, 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Presented by Buffalo Bayou Partnership.

And if Valentine’s Day isn’t really your thing or you want to take your sweetheart to a concert, go to either the Less Than Jake show at Warehouse Live. Or head over to House of Blues to check out Plain White T’s. You can enter to win tickets to either of these concerts through Do713. Click the links above, then hit “I like it”. You can’t beat a free date?!
