On Tuesday, two great shows are coming to H-town. Seth Walker will perform at McGonigel’s Mucky Duck. Originally based in Austin, the blues singer/songwriter is influenced by New Orleans rhythms which are complimented by an Elvis Costello-esque voice. Seth Walker will be sure to keep your feet tapping while you enjoy a brew or glass of wine at this quaint venue. 7:30 p.m., $20.
If something a bit heavier is what suits you, then head on over to Warehouse Live to check out Against Me!, Cheap Girls and Fences. Opening for Against Me! & Cheap Girls is Fences. With sounds compared to Tegan and Sara, Fences mastermind is Chris Mansfield. Don’t judge a book by its cover; Fences may be covered in tattoos but he plays an acoustic guitar and songs are more on the quiet side – still punk rock though. Click “I like it” for your chance to win free tickets to this show! 8 p.m.
