Houston (October 27, 2010)—GhoulsFest Invites You to Rock The Night Away! GhoulsFest Music Festival (www.ghoulsfest.com) announces the festival line up featuring 17 bands performing on 2 stages on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Tom Bass Park, located just 11 minutes from downtown Houston.

In addition to the list of performers, GhoulsFest Music Festival will also feature a variety of activities and performance artists including the mesmerizing talents of Luminosity(www.luminosityfire.com), a Houston-based troupe of strolling multi-talented international artists performing intricate routines using fire and LED lights with a fusion of club grooves, Indian, ballroom and belly dancing styles along with circus acts and performers.
For fans of club-style beats, check out the “Hazey Maze” Dance Party featuring a large-scale harvest-style labyrinth maze with a giant fog-filled dance floor featuring the best dance grooves and house music from the likes of DJ Bizz, DJ Manu, Fat Tony, and more!
Don’t miss the Kingpinz Skate Park (www.kingpinz.com) featuring a retail shop, half-pipe with demos and exhibitions from some of Houston’s top skateboarding teams and a DJ spinning between acts. Kingpinz is Houston’s premier skateboard and snowboard shop with the largest skateboard selection in town.
Need to let off some steam? Visit the “Smashing” Pumpkins Patch for your chance to smash a few pumpkins and make some mayhem!
For the gaming fan, GhoulsFest has partnered with Joystix Classic Games and Pinballs (www.joystixamusements.com) in order to provide a FREE arcade area allowing fans to enjoy a variety of pinball machines, arcade games and a few other gaming surprises in between bands.
The festival will also feature a variety of non-traditional food including: Little Miss Cupcake, Mélange Creperie, House of Te, Gyro Connection, Radical Eats, Absolute Cajun, Tacos A Go-Go, and Rock & Roll Kitchen, plus Saint Arnold’s will provide an array of locally-brewed libations selling for $4 each until 5 p.m. Beer prices increase just $1 after 5 p.m.
Patrons will also be allowed to bring in one unopened, plastic water bottle and FREE hydration stations will be provided throughout the festival grounds.
The party continues with the exclusive GhoulsFest After Party at Hard Rock Cafe Houston (www.hardrock.com/houston) featuring a special DJ performance from festival headliner Macy Gray along with Marnie Stern (www.myspace.com/marniestern1), plus with meet and greet opportunities with festival artists, drink specials and more! Dress in costume and participate in theGhoulsFest Costume Contest featuring cash prizes, a custom designed skate board from Kingpinz Skate Park and more!
